Get Vaxxed Campaign: Public health education in an age of misinformation

The Sepsis Alliance works to save lives and reduce suffering by raising awareness of sepsis and improving access to timely care. 501c Design designed and wrote this GET VAXXED billboard and bus transit campaign encouraging vaccination as a way to prevent sepsis. Running in New Orleans, rural Louisiana, Mississippi, and West Virginia, the campaign targeted low-income communities with bold colors, strong typography, and powerful headlines—avoiding imagery to ensure the message resonated across diverse audiences. In addition to developing the concepts and copy, we worked directly with out-of-home agencies to maximize visibility and placement where it mattered most. The campaign title, “GET VAXXED,” flips anti-vaccine rhetoric on its head to deliver a clear, memorable call to action. The matching landing page helps users locate vaccination resources in their areas and learn about the safety of vaccinating.
